All About projectProjects

Welcome to my Little Corner of the Internet

I built projectProjects as a hub to collect, showcase, and nurture my constantly evolving interests. I embrace moving between passions whenever inspiration hits, and this site lets me keep every project in view so I can revisit and finish them when the moment feels right.

I'm a proud career Canadian who loves the outdoors—cold weather, mountains, hiking, the ocean, and sailing. My hobbies include blacksmithing, woodworking, electronics and selfhosting, open-source software, and gardening. Right now I'm focused on building an off-grid solar homestead from scratch in the mountains of British Columbia. Expect content on ecofriendly DIY projects, organic gardening, alternative building, orchard/food forest initiatives, blacksmithing, and, soon, small livestock.

I believe the ad centered internet economy stifles creative freedom, so you won't find ads, tracking, or sponsored content here. All content on projectProjects—including videos, downloadable plans, and any other media—is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. This means you may share and remix my work as long as you give appropriate credit, do not use it for commercial purposes, and distribute any adaptations under the same license.

Stay connected: follow or bookmark via Mastodon or RSS for updates. I'm considering starting a PeerTube channel in the future, but I don't have one yet; so you can keep an eye out for video content there via Mastodon when it launches.
